guest drinker James O

guest James Owhy do you want to be a guest?
My passion for verbosity is exceeded only by my passion for the two lovely visions of womanhood who have created this site, and my passion for a good slug of booze. Oh, and I helped come up with the name of the site.

what drink from the la belle vie drink menu represents you and why?
Well, I’d have liked to have said the Charming Man, but Jen’s already reviewed it (and I’ve never had it). So, I’m hoping to find new identity–for a spiritual (or alcoholic) rebirth, if you will–through the drink menu. I am a pliable clay, waiting to be remolded into the image of a bartender’s fancy (why did that pathetic image from Ghost at the spinning wheel just pop somewhat phallically into my head?).

what day(s) of the week work best for you?
The days the bar are open. Oh, and those that don’t conflict with any plans the missus may have.

how did you hear about la booze vie?
I was part of a flash mob that had descended upon Knollwood Mall, and it was all everyone was talking about. Oh, wait, that sounds so 2003. Um, how ’bout: I have an in with the creators?

got anything else you want to tell us? it’s ok, let it out.
I’m quick to judge, convinced I’m always right, have an affinity for pop cultural references, occasionally well up at the end of some of our kids’ better cartoon movies, still have a pair of Girbaud jeans from college, and think the proper turn of a phrase is one of the finest arts imaginable.
